what is easier than a fabulous floral kimono in your wardrobe? and while you can wear it the same way…why not style it differently…and get some great use out of your pieces…i am a big proponent of styling your pieces at least 3 different ways…and with that…i try and show you some examples of just how to do that…
i got this floral kimono about a year ago…and i still love it to this day…that being said though…i do like to mix it up…while it is a big print…and pretty memorable…there are tiny changes you can make…that will allow the outfit to go from casual to a bit dressy…
the kimono is the star piece in my outfit…so i don’t need to add much to it…although sometimes i need a bit “extra”…which i think i accomplished with the red booties…added enough of a punch…while not taking away from the kimono print…
while i tend to stay away from being too matchy matchy…sometimes…i give in…i felt the red booties were a perfect addition for my floral kimono…
for a bit more casual of a look…i decided to add a fun graphic tee to my floral kimono…adds a bit of fun…great conversation starter…
it truly becomes a fabulous comfortable outfit…adding in a fun pair of loafers…for those times when i’m on my feet all day with clients…while still looking put together…
a pair of heels always dresses up an outfit…and for this last look…i added not only a fabulous pair of heels…but a bit more color…for those daring enough to do it…why not add a pair of pants…or skirt…that is a vibrant color…
adding color to this floral kimono was easy to do…the colors are so vibrant…why not add more to it?
a fun 4th look would be to add the floral kimono to a slip dress…i haven’t found the perfect one yet…but i’m on the lookout!
