while i have been working in women’s closets for years and years…making it more efficient & organized…i have let my own closet get a bit neglected…so as i am getting some much needed closet essentials – i thought i would share some of my tried and true must haves for a well organized closet…
it truly is all about organization…showcasing all that you have…because lets be honest…if you can’t see it…you won’t be wearing those items…and it’s also about making the best use of your space…so here are a few of my must haves in the closet…
first – these shelf dividers (paid link) are a true God-send…i use them for both sweaters & tees…fold them up – in between the dividers and voila! no toppling over! win-win! i also love them for my purses…same thing…the purses are lined up…prim and proper like…and no toppling over…and the best part…you see what you have…
next…NO WIRE HANGERS! i can’t tell you how many times i still see wire hangers…it just doesn’t do anything for your beautiful clothes…plastic is ok…but THE best option in my opinion would be the slim velvet non stick hangers (paid link)…a TRUE closet essential…
there are so many benefits to using these hangers…
– clothes don’t slip off these hangers
– so much more space is added to your closet
– closet looks uniform
