have you ever had one of those times where you see a jacket on someone…find out where they got it…go out in search of it…only to not find it? frustrating…i know…
so…about 2 years ago…i had dinner with my best friend from high school…when she walked into the restaurant…she had on this amazing jacket…so of course…i had to ask her where she got it…if it was a recent purchase…you know the drill…
well…she had purchased it at banana republic…and it was on sale! so…needless to say…i was pretty excited…and within that week…set out to find one just for me…
no luck…i tried several stores…ended up looking online…they were all gone…at least in my size…
so…i figured the jacket was not meant to be…
fast forward two years…a few weeks back…i’m shopping at a consignment store in new york city…while on vacation…and what do i spot! the fabulous jacket…in my size! at a really really really good price…
so i figure…the jacket was meant to be…
i had to text a pic to my girlfriend…of my fabulous find…she texted back “score! you will love it!”
so…now i am the proud owner of this fabulous jacket…and just when you thought that was the end of the story…
a few days ago…while i was perusing a folder that i have of “inspirational outfits”…i came across this pic…don’t even remember where i found it…but how similar is the jacket! so now more than ever do i believe this jacket was meant to be…and i’m determined to find a navy blue polka dot blouse…to really complete the look…
