rare bird of fashion…

so…i arrived home today to a little package on my doorstep…from a dear dear friend…imagine my complete delight when i opened said package to see “rare bird of fashion – the irreverent iris apfel” les sigh…first of all…i j’adore everything about iris apfel…and the fact that i didn’t have this beautiful coffee table book in my ever growing stash of designer/fashion books…well…there just wasn’t an explanation…i’ve already thumbed through the book…oh the pictures…the colors…the drama…the fabulousness of it all…

i’m sure that i will be reading this from front cover to back tonite…more then once…slight obsession? perhaps…but it’s all about iris apfel… =)
