almost everyone has got a black dress hanging in their closet…or that one staple piece…let’s say black pants & a white shirt…whatever that “piece” is…taking that item and adding different accessories…will give your one piece…many new looks…
it is truly one of the easiest ways to grow your wardrobe inventory…changing out the accessories with your key staple pieces…to show some examples…i have pulled some pics of different looks with a black dress…now i understand that the dress is not the same in each picture…but i am hoping you can see the difference accessories can make in your closet…
a common outfit is a black dress…shoes…usually pumps…and a nice pearl necklace…nothing wrong with that combination…but it does get boring after a while…so how can you change up that look a bit? here are some examples…
just by changing out your shoes…perhaps a fun pair of lace-up ankle booties…your look instantly becomes more edgy…you can always add a fun leather jacket to complete the look even more…
adding a fun belt…especially in a fun color…or with texture…will add a fun new look to your black dress as well…the options with belts alone are endless…different colored belts…or animal prints will make each outfit look different and unique…
instead of the standard pearls…again…nothing wrong with them…but how about putting together a cluster of metallic chains…or even going for a vibrant necklace…in turquoise or green…orange or pink…you get the idea…same as in the belt idea…the dress changes its look by the different necklaces you choose to wear…
another option to try is by adding a fun scarf to your dress…again…this is a whole new look…and allows you to add some fun colors, prints & textures to your black dress…
