one item that was seen all over the runways…and is now taking over the streets…is…sneakers…when i first saw this look…i thought to myself…uh…no…but it is starting to grow on me…but as always…this isn’t a look you just add to a boring pair of jeans & a t-shirt…it requires a little bit of thought…to make it look…stylish & chic…
i thought i would pull a few pics off of pinterest (my go-to for ideas for my clients & myself)…as you will notice in all of these pics…there are sneakers being worn…but the outfit as a whole…is an a+…
so what makes it work?
first and foremost…as i always say…this is not about being frumpy…make sure your clothes are well fitted…as in this first example…fun & chic..with a graphic tee & fabulous coat…adding a bit of animal print always adds a nice touch to an outfit…
spring is all about adding fun colors…whether pastels or brights…mix them up…and add some color to your sneakers…how put together is this next outfit? she looks ready to run some errands and meet some friends for lunch & window shopping…
the wedge sneaker…for those that need a little bit of height…again…opt for a fun color…and work it into a fabulous fun spring outfit…swap out the flats or wedges you would normally wear…and add some fun sneakers…
and yes…wear it with your dresses…for that matter…your skirts as well…add a fun leather jacket…and you are ready to hit the town…
just remember…this isn’t about wearing your gym shoes out with your outfits…if this is a trend you want to try…think about a fun color…or print…if that is a bit much…make it a neutral…but make it work with a stylish & chic outfit…and think about your accessories…they should be a bit refined…and add a bit of elegance to the overall look…

This is good to know. I was also a bit hesitant, but I just bought a pair of pink tennis shoes…if everything else is put together, tennis can add a little fun to the outfit.
