how times have changed…if you do a search on my blog for september issues…you will find pics from prior years showing 10 to 12 magazines for september issues…i had to have them all…i can remember how thick the september issues used to be…vogue alone would be 800 to 900 pages…i always remember thinking how much my sweet postman had to endure…carrying those in his pack till he could drop them off at my mailbox…
fast forward to this year…
this is the extent of the magazines i have delivered to my home…and even for september…the big issue of the year…it is slim…less than 400 pages…times have changed…and while most read everything online…i still prefer having these in my hands…i’m old school…for sure…but kind of missing the years past of the massive september issues…
fall fashion has always been my favorite…and here we are a day before the official first day of fall…and i’m just starting to devour what is out there…the sad truth though…as i have seen while shopping for clients…as slim as the september issues are…so are the stores…while more are shopping online…there are still those that prefer to touch and feel the fabric…slim pickings out there…
so…are you team “online shopper” or “in-store”?
