and just like that…the biggest sale of the year for nordstrom is upon us…the anniversary sale…the sale officially opens to the public on july 15…but if you are a card holder, you will get early access based on your tier…in any event…this sale is different from others…as it is upcoming new pieces that are put on sale from the onset…only to be put back at regular prices after the sale…
a good time to shop for the pieces you need…am i right?
this year…my catalog is looking a little different…it’s a bit smaller – but also…when you open it up…on the top you will see “finds” which is how i have always delivered shopping catalogs…and then a section next to it “lookbook” which shows you items from the “finds” section in actual outfits…so you get ideas of how to wear new pieces that you might be interested in…
drum roll please…here are my picks for some fun pieces from this years anniversary sale…
my suggestions for shopping the sale:
– items get sold out quickly – so if there is something you are interested in…buy it!
– if you see an item is sold out – keep checking…as they replenish and/or get returns
– don’t forget about about beauty products…great time to stock up!
– most importantly…don’t get excited about “the anniversary sale”…meaning…don’t go crazy shopping…know your style goals…and what pieces you are in need of…
