and just like that…the biggest sale of the year for nordstrom is upon us…the anniversary sale…the sale officially opens to the public on july 12th…but if you are a card holder, you will get early access based on your tier starting july 9th…in any event…this sale is different from others at nordstrom…as it is upcoming new pieces that are put on sale from the onset…only to be put back at regular prices after the sale…
a good time to shop for the pieces you need…am i right?
if you have been with me for years…you will know that my nordstrom picks were broken down by categories such as sweaters, tops, shoes etc…last year…i changed up the catalog to look a little different…a bit smaller in number of items – but also…a new format… “finds” and “lookbook” – so for a refresher…on the top you will see “finds” which is how i have always delivered shopping catalogs…and then a section next to it “lookbook” which shows you items from the “finds” section in actual outfits…so you get ideas of how to wear new pieces that you might be interested in…
drum roll please…here are my picks for some fun pieces from this years anniversary sale…
my suggestions for shopping the sale:
– items get sold out quickly – so if there is something you are interested in…buy it!
– if you see an item is sold out – keep checking…as they replenish and/or get returns
– don’t forget about beauty products…great time to stock up!
– most importantly…don’t get excited about “the anniversary sale”…meaning…don’t go crazy shopping…know your style goals…and what pieces you are in need of…
