what size am i…now?

based on designers…brand names…and a whole slew of reasons…most women will not wear just one size…and in my years of going through closets…i have seen it…there could be a range of 2 maybe 3 sizes within a closet…a closet of perfectly fitted clothing…for one person…and then you have the opposite…

there are the closets…that you walk into…and you wonder if this closet belongs to 5 different women…not because of the different styles…but because of the range of sizes…everything from a size 4 to a size 16…these are the times that you walk in and wonder…why?

and believe me…i’ve heard all the excuses…

“i plan to get into those size 4 jeans”…even though the last time these size 4 jeans fit was about 8 years ago…

“i’m keeping that for my ‘fat’ days”…ok…first of all the whole “fat day” theme…why?

these are two big extremes…one is thinking of losing weight to get into items…the other is keeping large items in safe keeping…just in case the weight comes on again…

while clients have not always been willing to let go of these items…at the very least…the compromise has been to at least remove these items from the main closet…if you are keeping smaller sizes in your closet…it is a constant reminder of the fact that you are not the size you once were…or hope to be…and if you are keeping larger sizes…you are giving yourself permission to let it all go…again…because you at least have the clothing to accommodate for it…

both reasons are completely not needed for your morning time ritual…

wouldn’t you rather walk into your main closet and know that EVERY piece in there is ready to be picked and worn on any given day?

so when you walk in your closet…make sure that the sizes in there…are the sizes you are…now…no guessing…no fussing…no head games…just perfect pieces of clothing…ready to be worn…
