olive green military jacket: styled 3 ways…

i absolutely love a military jacket in my wardrobe…and as i always state…you should be able to style a piece at least 3 ways…i do have fun styling this fun piece in olive green (one of my favorite colors)…and while i currently have only 2…i’m hoping that number grows…for example…i am on the hunt for a red military jacket… wouldn’t that be amazing?

i thought it would be fun to add one of my ruffle vintage blouses to my first look…i just think it adds a fun burst of gold…which of course plays off the gold buttons in the military jacket…

while i feel the blouse has enough “pow” for this outfit…i kept the jewelry pretty tame…i wanted the blouse to be my main focus…

i added this knit pleated skirt…loved the texture addition to the outfit…what doesn’t show up in the pictures…is that the skirt has a gold shimmer to it…and of course…to complete this outfit…i continued with the green theme…and pulled out my fun tory burch shoes…and added fishnets…and called it done!

for look number two…i decided to make my focus on baubles…this military jacket can truly be worn in so many ways…while i do wear it with jeans etc…i have found the most styled ways have included skirts from my closet…and it shouldn’t be a surprise at how many olive green pieces i do own…

i chose to focus on my vintage 70’s necklace for this look…again…with the gold accents…i just love how it brings out the gold in the military jacket buttons…i also like the pearls added to the outfit…i feel it brings a little hard & soft touch to the outfit…

here is a close-up of the necklace…i purchased this piece years ago…and it truly is still one of my favorites…with the addition of the silk chiffon skirt…another element of soft…i was happy with my look number 2…

added in my olive green suede boots (shocker…green again…) and fishnets for a little extra something something…and the look was complete…

look number 3 for styling this olive green military jacket…i decided to add some florals in the mix…it was raining this day…or i seriously think i would have added my pink booties…too much? for some…possibly…but heck…you should have fun with your outfits…

this military jacket is 100% wool…so i am really trying to get my wear of it in…we’ve had some incredibly warm weather this winter…so my options have been limited…

stay tuned for the next item styled 3 ways…but until then…if you would like to follow me more closely in my quest to wear my items lot’s of different ways…you can follow me on instagram where i post my outfits…

till next time…stay stylish!
